Samuel Ehrenstein, Ph.D.

Director and Senior Fellow

Dr. Sam Ehrenstein is the founder and Director of the Institute for Quantitative Political Economy, where he is also a Senior Fellow. His research focuses on the intersection of knowledge production, state power, and technology. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside the Institute, Sam is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
